It's not just H&M ; I stopped buying stuff from Pinup Girl Clothing because they claim to go to size 4x but their 2x is actually an L. You don't have the luxury of trying things on when you buy online; I had to go through my sister's wedding with a friend's jacket on and my new dress unzipped to the waist because their sizes didn't match with any other dressmaker I'd ever used (and that includes H&M plus!) plus size wedding dresses
